We are currently recruiting for a Hire Controller based in Blackburn.

As part of your role, you will be:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The taking of orders and quotations. Following them through to completion. Ensuring that all opportunities are maximized for all depots and the company and profit margins are achieved.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of the depot’s equipment for Hire, including knowledge of accessories and consumables.
  • Arranging delivery and collection of orders in accordance with the customer’s requirements. Utilising our tracker
  • Ensuring IT/ paperwork relating to on-hires, off-hires, sales and stock transfers are completed efficiently and in a timely fashion.
  • Arranging delivery and collection of orders in accordance with the customer’s requirements. Utilising our tracker system to ensure customer expectations are surpassed and fuel economy is maximized. Develop strong relationships with our colleagues and customers to deliver the highest standards of service.
  • With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships and understanding their needs. in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives and supplementary products to profitably maximise the sale of goods

Experience/Skill Required

  • Liaising, with other depots, employees, customers, workshops and the sales teams.
  • Experience within the Hire industry
  • Confident energetic personality who is smart and well presented
  • A people person with outstanding face to face and telephone communication skills
  • Must be customer focused
  • Must have good organisation skills
  • Ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels as part of a complete team
  • Computer literate
